CURIOSITA’:
esordì a 18 anni in Serie D sotto la guida di Valentino Persenda, giocò in verdeazzurro per stagioni consecutive in D per poi passare al Macomer e altre formazioni minori del circondario. E’ stato il primo della famiglia Picconi ad approdare in prima squadra, dopo di lui i fratelli Peppino, Salvatore, Mario e Franco hanno vestito la maglia verdeazzurra.
